Valentine's Day 2016 Series - Card 7

Hi everyone, thank you so much for stopping by today!

Today's card was so much fun to make. I love the emboss resist technique, especially thick lined stamps, such as the one below.

This technique will work with stamps that have thinner ridges so long as you use a fine detail embossing powder. A thicker powder may unclean lines.

Emboss resist technique on 140lb watercolour paper. After the panel dried I cut it in angles with my paper trimmer to create a sunburst effect, and raised alternating beams on foam tape to add dimension.

The heart is watercoloured with pinks, sprinkled with glitter and covered with glossy accents. I used sparkling red thread between the heart and the panel for extra interest and shine.
