Easter Series 2016 - Card 2

Welcome to day two of my Easter Series. I can't believe how close Easter is already! So let's dive right in.

To start this card off, I stamped the flowers on Copic friendly paper and coloured them in, using two shades per colour. I then used oval dies to cut them out.

I used Victorian Velvet distress ink to sponge the edges of the card base and the oval to add some colour to the background.

I used a sheer ribbon to add a bit of interest and then popped the oval up on foam tape. I was going to leave it as is, but then decided it needed just a little something extra. I had the little butterfly left over from another project and used the same distress ink to colour it.
