Cheers | ft. Clearly Besotted "Hip Hip Hooray"

Hi everyone, thank you for stopping by. I hope you are having a great day.

Let me just first say, that when I saw this set it was the only thing I could think about. This set set off a creative fire that burned through the country side of my imagination, and while that may sound silly, I think we can all relate to something in that way.

The Hip Hip Hooray set by Clearly Besotted is that set for me. I got idea, after idea, after idea, I couldn't sleep because my brain was just churning things out.

The first that came to fruition was this super sweet one layer panel.

To begin, I stamped all the images on 110lb Copic-friendly paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink; beginning with the baby, which I then masked off, and then the parents which I also masked.

I then used Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress inks to bring in a subtle background. I removed the masks and coloured the viking family in with Copic markers. I covered the metal areas with clear Wink of Stella to give them a bit of shine.

I then stamped the greeting using the same ink.

I mounted this piece on a shimmering piece of silver cardstock and then adhered the whole thing on a standard A2 sized card base.

I suspect you'll be seeing this little family and all the super cute accessories that come in this set often in the future. I just love them.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and are inspired to create something of your own. Don't forget to follow me over on the right sidebar so you don't miss any new posts. Toss me a line in the comments section below and let me know what you think.
